How to Add the Web App to Your Mobile Device's Home Screen

To further facilitate access to our web app, field technicians can add it directly to their mobile device's home screen. Follow these simple steps:

For Android Devices:

  1. Open Chrome on your Android device.
  2. Navigate to the web app you want to save.
  3. Tap the three vertical dots (menu) icon in the top right corner.
  4. Select "Add to Home screen".
  5. A popup will appear where you can edit the icon name if desired.
  6. Tap "Add".
  7. Depending on the device, you might see another confirmation window where you need to tap "Add automatically" or "Hold and drag to place manually".

For iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad):

  1. Open Safari on your iOS device (this functionality is not supported by Chrome on iOS).
  2. Navigate to the web app you want to save.
  3. Tap the share icon (a square with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Scroll down and select "Add to Home Screen".
  5. A screen will appear where you can edit the icon name if desired.
  6. Tap "Add" in the top right corner.

Once these steps are completed, you will see an icon on your device's home screen, similar to a regular app, allowing you to quickly access our web app.
